What is the sentiment analyzer?

The sentiment analyzer is an AI-powered tool that examines your collected customer reviews and extracts meaningful patterns from them. It identifies overall sentiment distribution, recurring themes, actionable improvement ideas, and keyword suggestions for your review library.

You can find it at Get reviews > Sentiment analyzer in your dashboard.

How credits work

The sentiment analyzer uses a credit-based pricing system. The cost depends on how many reviews you choose to analyze:

Reviews analyzedCredit cost
1 - 505 credits
51 - 10010 credits
101 - 50020 credits
501 - 1,00035 credits
1,001 - 5,00075 credits
5,001 - 10,000125 credits
Over 10,000150 credits

Larger batches offer better per-review value. You can view the full pricing breakdown by hovering over the info icon on the analysis overview card.

Requirements

Before you can run an analysis, you need:

  • Minimum 10 reviews collected in your account
  • Sufficient credit balance to cover the cost of the analysis tier you select

If you do not have enough reviews, the page will suggest ways to collect more, including linking to your prompt pages and Google Business Profile import. If you are short on credits, a link to purchase more is provided.

Choosing how many reviews to analyze

When you have more than 50 reviews, the review limit selector lets you choose how many to include in the analysis. Options are presented as tiers (e.g., "50 most recent," "100 most recent," or "All reviews"). Each option shows its credit cost so you can make an informed decision.

The selector only appears when you have enough reviews to offer multiple tier options. If you have fewer than 50 reviews, all of them are analyzed automatically.

Running the analysis

  1. Navigate to Get reviews > Sentiment analyzer
  2. Review the analysis overview card, which shows:
    • Your reviews - total reviews available to analyze
    • Analysis cost - credit cost for your selected tier
    • Your balance - current credit balance and remaining credits after analysis
  3. Select how many reviews to include (if applicable)
  4. Click Run analysis

During processing, you will see rotating progress messages that cycle every few seconds, such as "Collecting your reviews," "Analyzing sentiment patterns," and "Preparing improvement ideas." The analysis typically takes 15-60 seconds depending on volume.

Understanding your results

Once complete, the results page displays several sections:

  • Sentiment summary - A breakdown of positive, negative, and neutral sentiment across your reviews, showing the overall emotional tone of your customer feedback
  • Common themes - Topics and patterns that appear frequently, organized into what customers love about your business and areas where they suggest improvement
  • Improvement ideas - Actionable recommendations generated by AI based on the themes and patterns found in your reviews
  • Discovered keywords - Phrases and terms extracted from reviews that can be added to your keyword library for better tracking

Re-running the analysis

After viewing results, you can run a new analysis at any time. A compact review limit dropdown appears next to the Run analysis button so you can quickly adjust the scope. Each new run costs credits based on the tier you select.

Tips for getting the most value

  • Analyze regularly - Run the analysis monthly or quarterly to track how customer sentiment shifts over time
  • Start with all reviews - Your first analysis should cover all available reviews to establish a baseline understanding
  • Act on improvement ideas - The AI-generated suggestions are based on real customer feedback, making them highly relevant to your business
  • Use discovered keywords - Add the extracted phrases to your keyword library to improve your review monitoring and SEO tracking
  • Compare before and after - If you make changes based on the analysis, run it again later to see whether customer sentiment has improved
